Winn & Ken
If you’re like me, you spent your months at home during the Covid shutdown binge watching countless shows and movies and the like. One of my favorite discoveries is the historical drama, Bridgerton on Netflix. This series is a literal feast for the senses! I love the beautiful gowns and floral gardens. I love the choreographed dances to Pop classics reinvented as classical music. I love everything about the show and may have binged the entire series in under a day.
As a huge Bridgerton fan I was over the moon stoked when I arrived at Boxwood Manor to see all of the whimsical garden themed details! Floral designer Moonstruck Florals outdid herself with this design!
Here’s a few of my favorite images from the day!
Meanwhile in the guys cabin…. shenanigans were afoot!
These guys were one of my favorite groom’s crew ever! They were so quirky and energetic and fun!
Winnie & Ken’s wedding day was so windy that we could not go outside for very long for portraits prior to the ceremony, fortunately Boxwood Manor has so many beautiful and unique spaces it was easy finding other spaces for photos.
Winnie & Ken met on the campus of Rice University where they served in a student’s ministry together. Their faith is very important to them. This is evidenced by their ceremony which was more of a worship service, complete with a praise leader and congregational hymn. I love it so much when couples make their weddings unique to them. It’s one of the things I love most about being a Houston Wedding photographer, no two wedding are ever the same.
